While the School of the Prophets provided an amazing opportunity for men to learn all things spiritual and secular, women were excluded from participation and relegated to the home. This exclusion paired with the verse about "establishing a house" prompt us to explore women, homemaking, and the limitations of a singular story of motherhood.
