Monday Nov 22, 2021
Monday Nov 22, 2021
*EDIT: In the original publishing of this episode Elise incorrectly stated that Jacob Blake was shot and killed. However, this is not true. He was shot, seriously injured, and paralyzed. This episode has been edited to more accurately reflect the situation. I apologize for my ignorance and lack of preparation and sensitivity to the facts of the situation. Thank you to one of our followers for calling me out and correcting me.*
In this episode, we're combining two weeks worth of sections to finish out the Doctrine & Covenants. We discuss the murder of Joseph and Hyrum, offer a supportive liturgy for Emma and Mary, and explore salvation as a co-creative work we do with God. Finally, we share some of our closing thoughts about what it's been like to study this book of scripture and how it has changed and challenged us.
